Dear Bridget and Chris, Thanks very much for a super and 'safe' riding experience this morning. Spectacular scenery, superb weather and a gorgeous horse to ride, Lucy. Many, many thanks indeed.

I'm a vegetarian and non-horsey which I thought might be a little challenging. I can now thoroughly recommend the carrot & red pepper soup, courgette & sweetcorn quiche and bean & mushroom lasagne (my favourite!).
'The Globe' bistro bar in Villefranche has a great atmosphere with a real buzz about it. I enjoyed several beers there as I sat overlooking the River Aveyron under shade of the beautiful plane trees, just people watching and chilling out.
I thought I might try this holiday with my eldest daughter Roisin who learnt to ride in just 2 days!
The whole experience was totally relaxing and de-stressing. I enjoyed just having the opportunity to chill and chat on the barbeque terrace and Roisin loved sunbathing on the roof-top sun terrace.
Have just booked to bring the whole family back in August!

Thank you in a really big way! To Chris and Bridget. Thank you for taking your time to teach me how to ride Shadow. Thank you for cooking lunch and dinner for me and letting me stay with you. My room was lovely. I had a great time and I can't wait to come back in August. Hugs and Kisses Roisin. x.

'The horses are beautifully turned out and great to ride. The treks are fantasic, mostly off road and great way to see the stunning countryside. We had a really enjoyable week and would like to thank Bridget and Chris for their great hospitality...and yes the bread is real good! We will be back at the next opportunity.'

Nestled in the beautiful Aveyron countryside, an ideal base to explore.

Anyone taking this type of holiday will not be disappointed, the farmhouse is gorgeous, the surrounding countryside is stunning and Chris and Bridget are wonderful hosts, I know, I've stayed there.

If you want a riding holiday in France with a difference then you will enjoy the countryside location. It is very quiet even on the side roads and when you get into the hills you can see for miles, fantastic off road
riding with a difference, especially if you like jumping natural fences.I would strongly recommend it, give it a try.
